So whatever you do, do not get caught out using any of these techniques. Only use legitimate means of promoting increased volumes of traffic.
So you need to tread carefully when you are researching SEO companies. Don’t end up with a company who employs these sorts of tactics just to get you a good page ranking using obscure keywords. There’s simply no benefit in it and in actual fact it can backfire on you and get your website black listed by the search engines. They only way to do your SEO is to do it properly and legally. It may take a little bit longer, but you will gain more in the long term.
The other thing to watch out for is the bogus SEO companies that say they will link your site to thousands of other websites at a price. It all sounds very promising but in actual fact, the vast majority of these links will be to small websites that are not relevant to your market, and they probably get no traffic themselves anyway, so they’re hardly likely to send any traffic your way. The other thing you should know is that search engines will not rank you for irrelevant links in the first place.
